Here are the event details.

WHEN:

  • Saturday, September 14, 2019. In case of foul weather, we’ll reschedule.

  • Potluck drinks & appetizers begin at 5 p.m.

  • Potluck dinner will be unveiled at 6 p.m.

  • September films start at about 7:30 p.m. There will be one 20 minute intermission and we expect the show to conclude at roughly 9:30 p.m.

 

WHERE:

 

In September, the show will be at the home of Nancy Kress at 522 Taylor Street, just South of Pioneer Middle School. If you have questions about the venue, you may reach Nancy at: (509) 540-4846 or e-mail her here.

 

WHAT IS PROVIDED:

  • Lucia's Wicked, Non-Alcoholic Punch, tea, real coffee, and decaf coffee.

  • Cups, plates, napkins, silverware.

  • Lots of ice.

 

WHAT TO BRING:

  • Come ready to impress with something amazing you made (or secretly bought). The reputation of the potluck is outstanding. Please bring a tasty appetizer, main course, side dish, salad or dessert and the right tool to serve as well. Plan enough to serve approximately eight, because leftovers are fun and shortages are not.

  • Many people bring wine, beer or mixed drinks to share as well.

  • A lawn chair (The low ones are best)

  • A sweater, warm hat, and a blanket or two (Boy, it can get cold at night, even in summer).

 

CONTRIBUTE:

Yes, we'd love your help. It takes many fabulous people to make the festival happen without any one person getting burned out.

Here are some ways to contribute. If you can help, please contact us.

  • Setup — Assist with setup on Friday night. (And, see an exclusive film or two as soon as setup is complete.)

  • Dishes — Take home a bin of Festival dishes to run through your dishwasher and return to the Mumm house.

  • Laundry — Take home Festival tablecloths to wash and return to the Mumm house.

  • Tear Down — Assist with tear down and cleanup on Sunday morning.

  • Host a Festival — If you've got the space and would like to spend a weekend hosting the Festival, we'd love to talk.

  • Surprise Us — If you have an idea to improve the Festival with your special skill, we'd love to hear about it.
