The Man Who Lived on His Bike

You'd barely guess that riding your bicycle through ice or traffic could get tough, from watching artist Guillaume Blanchet's latest video, in which he rides his bicycle through the city of Montreal for 382 days, washing, cooking, changing, flirting with women and generally living on two wheels as the cityscape whizzes by. The entire short was filmed on a GoPro camera.


The Bigger Picture

Director Daisy Jacobs uses two-meter-high painted characters in full-size sets to tell the stark and darkly humorous tale of caring for an elderly relative. Academy Award Nominee, The Bigger Picture is quite simply the most innovative, animated short you will see this year.

A health food store owner and devotee of meditation, Furman travels the world creating new categories for record achievement. In The Record Breaker we meet Furman, a singularly driven character, and his merry band of compatriots (including Champ the dog) as he's about to attempt to climb Machu Picchu on stilts.
